Frequently asked questions

What Business Central Version do I need for Core365 services?

Core365 services support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud (SaaS) — we recommend you are on the latest update wave. InvoiceLink specifically requires BC version 27.0 or later. On-premise BC installations are not supported for InvoiceLink, though we can discuss consulting for on-premise environments separately.

What is Peppol and why do I need it ?

Peppol is a secure international e-invoicing network. The ATO has mandated that all businesses supplying to the Australian government must send invoices via Peppol. From July 2026, 30% of supplier invoices to government must flow via Peppol, with full compliance required by December 2026. Core365 InvoiceLink handles this directly from Business Central.

How do I get started with a BC Implementation ?

Email us at support@core365.com.au with a brief description of your business, current system, and your goals for Business Central. We'll schedule a scoping call to assess your requirements and provide a proposal. Most new implementations begin with a discovery workshop.

Do I need a Peppol Access Point subscription ?

Yes — to send and receive invoices on the live Peppol network, you need a subscription with an ATO-accredited Peppol Access Point provider. InvoiceLink connects to your chosen provider. We can recommend providers including Tickstar, EFTS, Pagero, and AAssureComply — email support@core365.com.au for guidance.

How do I cancel my InvoiceLink subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Microsoft AppSource. Log in to your Microsoft 365 admin portal → go to Billing → Subscriptions → find Core365 InvoiceLink and cancel. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

What does the InvoiceLink free trial include?

The 30-day free trial includes full access to all features of your selected plan — Peppol outbound sending, ABN validation, compliance dashboard, approval workflow, and supplier tracker. No credit card required to start. After 30 days, your subscription converts automatically via Microsoft AppSource.

What does Manager BC Support cover?

Managed BC Support includes proactive environment monitoring, Microsoft update management, user support (helpdesk), performance reviews, and priority incident response. Scope and SLAs are defined in your Managed Services Agreement. Contact us to discuss a managed support engagement.

What training option does Core365 offer?

We offer role-based Business Central training for finance users, operations staff, and system administrators. Training is delivered remotely via Teams or on-site for Sydney-based clients. We also provide custom training materials and onboarding guides. Email support@core365.com.au to discuss your team's needs.
